    Installing the mod

    In the game
Put the jar in the mods folder of a NeoForge 1.21.1 profile. There is no Fabric build, and everyone playing together should be on the same one. To check it loaded, look for the small square Fragments button in the top-right of the Multiplayer screen.

    Getting the link

    In the game
Ask whoever invited you for four words with vbf: in front. That is the only form the game can use to find a world, so if what you were sent looks different, ask again. An invite code is a different thing and will not work here.

Adding it to your server list

    In the game
Multiplayer, Add Server, paste the link into Server Address. Minecraft would normally refuse an address that is not a hostname, and the mod re-enables Done when it recognises a Fragment. The row lands at the bottom of the list under a gold divider, reading Fragment · P2P.
  4. 04

    Matching the world's mods

    In the game
If the world states a mod list, you are shown what you are missing before you are committed to anything. Download fetches what Modrinth can resolve into your mods folder, then restart, because Java only loads mods at startup. On a world nobody has generated yet there is no Play anyway, because mods that add terrain take part in generating it.

    Your first join

    In the game
The first one is slow, because it builds your own copy of the world from the host’s seed and settings. Once per installation you are also shown what the mod sends. After that, joining is as quick as any other server in the list.
