Managing

Your account

Your name, your Minecraft account, your Discord, and deleting all of it.

One account, several doors into it. The account page is where you change what people see, prove or unprove which player you are, and decide what we keep.

Your name

The display name is what other members see beside you. It is not your Minecraft name, does not have to match it, and can be changed whenever you like.

Your Minecraft account

UUIDShow UUID
Unlink Tucker
The Minecraft block, once something is bound. Drawn, not a screenshot.
Proved by your client
The game proved it, through the pairing flow in linking your account. This is the state you want.
Typed in, unverified
A username was resolved against Mojang and bound by hand. That proves the account exists rather than that it is yours, and the game can upgrade it to proved later.
Why the UUID
We keep the account’s identifier rather than its name, so your worlds and your skin survive a username change.
Unlinking
One Minecraft account at a time. Unlink before binding a different one. Your worlds stay exactly where they are, and you will not be able to open them until something is bound again.

The ways you sign in

Email and password, Discord and Microsoft can all be attached to the same account, and any of them lands on the same worlds. Connecting a provider here is what stops it becoming a second, empty account later.

  • Connect a provider you have not used before with the button beside it.
  • Disconnecting is only offered when more than one way in exists, so an account can never be left with no door.
  • The email identity is never disconnectable, because it is the one that can always be recovered by email.

Your data

Taking a copy

Download a copy gives you one file with everything held against your account: your worlds, the memberships you hold, the bug reports you filed, and when your credentials were minted. It never contains the credentials themselves.

The same thing is available in the game with /vbf data export, which writes the file into your game folder and prints the path.

Deleting everything

Joiners who never made an account can have their data erased too. Ask the host of the world, or write to us from any address, and it is honoured either way.

Leaving the waitlist

One email takes the row out of the waitlist. There is no confirmation sequence and nothing to unsubscribe from twice.
