Terms

These are the terms you accept by signing up for a Vagabond's Fragments account and using the mod. They're intentionally short — Fragments is a free beta, and we want the rules to be readable rather than impressive.

01

What this is

Vagabond's Fragments is a peer-to-peer Minecraft mod and supporting coordinator service operated by Vagabonds. The beta is free, invite-only, and provided as-is.

02

Your account

Don't share your link keys or invite codes with anyone you wouldn't personally invite into a Minecraft world. You're responsible for activity on accounts bound to your Minecraft UUID.

03

Acceptable use

Don't use Fragments to host content that violates Mojang's EULA or the laws of your jurisdiction. Don't reverse-engineer the coordinator or attempt to bypass the world-membership system. Modded gameplay is the whole point — go nuts there.

04

Beta caveats

Data loss is possible. Save backups happen but aren't guaranteed. World state, member lists, and audit logs may be wiped if we need to ship a breaking schema change. We'll give notice when feasible.

05

Limitation of liability

Fragments is provided without warranty. We're not liable for lost worlds, ragequit clans, or hurt feelings from someone placing a block where you wanted yours.

06

Account termination

You can close your account any time by emailing us — see Contact. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate Section 3 (acceptable use), Mojang's EULA, or the laws of the operator's jurisdiction. Termination wipes your bind, your authored audit entries are decoupled from your identity, and worlds you owned become orphaned (the in-tree owner of each world becomes a soft-deleted marker until purge).

07

Changes to these terms

We'll announce any change material to your account by email at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use Fragments after that point counts as acceptance.

This document is the operator's good-faith summary of how Fragments is intended to be used. It isn't a substitute for a lawyer-reviewed agreement; if you intend to use Fragments commercially, monetize derivative content, or rely on us in any binding way, you should have your own counsel review these terms + reach out to discuss a separate agreement.
